Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Facility Coordinator for our office located in Lasalle, Quebec.  The person selected will be responsible to manage, maintain integrity and coordinate all type of facility maintenance services for all of Fuel’s owned and rented properties in the region of Montreal.

Detailed Job Description:
 
  • Manage and coordinate general repairs and services in all maintenance and renovations in related disciplines, including carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, HVAC, etc.
  • Manage and perform some of the non-technical repairs of the facility (e.g., desk repairs, conference rooms set ups, furniture moving etc.)
  • Manage and implement processes for safety protocol, security protocol and CT-PAT legislation with compliance to existing laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for on-time and respect of budgets in regards to maintenance and improvements of facilities and yards.
  • First responder for all emergencies related to security, accidents and building issues. (24/7)
  • Implement and supervise parking protocol process for employees, trucks and trailers.
  • Supervise and manage indirectly personnel for better effectiveness and performance on projects and daily maintenance.
  • Oversee and ensure energy efficiency for economies of scale in regards to all facilities.
  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of contracted services as per budgets and on-time deliverables.
  • Perform minor facilities non-technical repairs such as light bulbs, furniture moving etc.
 
Skills & Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor degree, Collegial or Professional studies with at least (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and Construction plans.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, both written and verbal. (French and English)
  • Valid Class 5 Driving Permit for traveling between premises.
  • 24/7 availability for emergencies.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making.
